yeah its insane what the insurance cost is in NY. I pay 40 and I have health/dental/vision with good co-pays and excellent doctors

I was paying 40 a month for full medical. They said they were covering 75 percent of actual cost.
Now they are only covering 70 percent of the cost, and they are moving it to a 100$ deductible per year.
Sounds like I’ll be paying more.

Umm, I wouldn’t complain about that.
Shit I thought I did. My fault.
I have the Joe-Pay plan.
I pay 100% of the bills untill I hit my $550/$1100 deductable.
Then i’m only on the hook for 20% of the bills.
And I pay ~$200/month into it.
~$130/mo; BCBS; $20 deductible; for myself and my Fiance; Medical, Vision, & Dental.
overall decent coverage; I don’t have any complaints at least.

I waived my student health insurance with UB and in typical Aetna fashion they managed to mess this up and charge me.
So I have two plans at the moment. And a paper stating my waiver was confirmed. ugh.
My health insurance was free when i worked for derrick which included health and dental. Now that i work for cameron i pay $268 month for my family.
healthy NY $ 236.00 month … no dental and vision
Work pays 100%, Blue Cross Aqua plan. I just have to put $15 per week into my personal savings account as part of the plan rules. Just don’t have dental coverage. Family owned business as well, my boss is a great dude.
Empire Plan for me, $11.50 a week, I get vision and dental through the CSEA

we dumped them and went to BC/BS
