Help before I go buy stuff.

Since im relativley new with cars, I find myself buying stuff that I dont need and wasting money. I dont want to do that - nor will I bring it to a garage.

Now

I went on a little trip last weekend to Toronto with my integra - I live in Sudbury. On the way home I noticed if I turn left lets say at a stop sign- the car makes a screeching sound. If I am braking on going left - there is no sound.

This grinding/screeching sound comes from the back passenger tire. - Least thats where it seems to come from. Kind of like taking a grinding wheel to metal. As soon as I complete the turn it goes away.

What could it be? Last time I checked the wheel wasnt stiff, and rotated freely offering no noise. If I break in a straight line, no sound comes from it either. ONLY WHEN I TURN LEFT DO I HEAR THE NOISE! Even If I drive in straight line and BARELY turn left on the steering wheel, its a ringing sound, full tilt left its a screech.

Also at speeds of 120km + I get a whistling sound coming from the back of the car. Sound like the right rear wheel aswell. Though I dont know if its completely related.

Id post on the Teg forums, but they offer little help.

Any suggestions?

wheel bearing.

How would it be a bearing if the brakes affect it?
