Hey guys. I am hearing a loud ass rubbing from the steering rack in my car. When I’m driving and I turn left, its really loud and even shakes my rearview mirror a bit. But, once I turn right, the sound is gone. I know its not the tires rubbing because there is no evidence of that on the tires or wheel well. I also used to have cut springs and now am using some stock shocks and sportlines to raise my car but the noise is still there. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this other than replace the whole steering rack cause thats a bitch.
i’ve got that noise too. only left turns, its fu<ked
i’ve concluded that its my bushings and i’ll soon be changing them.
Well I got a few of my buddies to look at it and they’re saying its almost 99% the front wheel bearings. Can anybody tell me how much front wheel bearings cost?
very likely not front wheel bearings
Your TC rod is bent, CV boots are split and the shafts are filled with roadgrime. replace it all
Is this the same shit?
I’ve got the same problem but not as bad…
Might just replace the whole thing just to be safe.
