steeringwheel problems

when i turn my steeringwheel it makes a weird metal on metal sound. im pretty sure it’s coming front the actual steering wheel. is there a bearing or something in there that needs to be greased?

Also, when im driving straight, my steeringwheel is very wobbly/bouncy and vibrates.

anyone got any ideas as to what this is or how to fix it?

thanks

there’s pins behind the wheel that make contact with a brass plate, when you turn thw wheel they rub, put some kind of lubricant on them to silence them.

Balance your wheels.

balance your wheels, check for shifted belts in your tires, as well inspect your tie rods, and ball joints as it could be a few things for the vibrating steering wheel, so for the squeeking it just needs some lube.

thanks alot guys, appreciate the help
