Help~Engine Ticking BAD

even a base 1 series feels more classy than a new infiniti :Idiots

and costs less than a new one

He doesnt like heavy mechanical feeling clutches, he likes the ones that do all the work for you but you feel accomplished because your driving a 5 speed…

I love the clutch in your 5, its nice n firm and feels smooth

+rep. one of the best posts on here.

Buying new cars is retarded unless you’re getting a pants shitting deal that allows you to sell the car for MORE or the same that you had into it.

Otherwise wait a year for the retard who bought it new to waste another 10k buying another new car, and scoop up their old one.

+1 to Pete, used cars rule.

Glad yo shit got fixed tric!

+203 on the whole bimmer theme…

203 :rofl

used meticulously maintainted cars fuckin rule:thumbup

I dunno how to explain the clutch that I like/prefer.

My dads 1992 Silverado clutch pedal is very firm and the engagement point is very high.

I drove a friends SC’ed/3.5swapped 96 Maxima with a Stage 3 clutch and his grabbed almost immediately, but the pedal was easy to push down.

Then I’ve driven 5spd Nissans, TSX’s, Accords, 6spd TL’s, etc. and their clutches grabbed about half way through and had an easy pedal. That’s the kind I like.

That’s the best way I can put it.

Driving stick is no issue for me. I’m fine with it. I stalled the SC Maxima once and did fine the rest of the time. It’s a matter of preference.

+1.

My clutch engages within the first inch of travel, is incredibly smooth and easy to modulate.

The bimmer you drove sucks apparently.

Well I drove two that were that bad. The other 2 weren’t as bad but still weren’t like a Japanese car I guess you could say.

The ones that were bad were a 97 323 or 328 and a 03 328. The 03 was a piece of crap. It over heated constantly on the guy, had sensor issues, etc.

Anyway. Trish. All I’m saying is what Benny said.

DON’T buy a brand spankin new BMW (or any car). Get certified pre-owned. You can’t say all certified pre-owned’s suck. You’ve just been unlucky.

Don’t go spending 125k on a car. That’s just a BAD financial decision. If you were making 125k/yr for the next 20 years, fine. That’s great. But you aren’t. You’re getting a lump sum from some venture/situation. You should invest that money.

I’d agree.

Get an E39 M5.

$25k for a good example, thing never breaks, you can get 200k out of a 400hp high revving v8. Maintenance kinda sucks from a parts-cost standpoint, but w/e.

So sexy…

This is pure sex…http://www.8thcivic.com/forums/images/smilies/drooling.gif

sorry for the big pic lol I dont know how to make it smaller lol

the new 750’s are FAST, i drove one.

It’s.

HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiideouus.

like I said you like a light pedal…

Thats all fine and dandy… but when im banging on my car hard… I like to feel the clutch…

Most car enthusiasts like to feel the clutch… personaly I think light clutches/dampers are for people who want to drive stick without all the work i guess is the only way I can put it

I agree. Grill needs to be smaller. The rear end sucks. The last version was still nice (like the 07 or whatever).
