Ok so one day my car ran fine, next kinda difficult to start let it warm up and got about a block away and it starts smoking thick white smoke out the exhaust so I popped the hood and there was gas pouring out from the exhaust manifold gasket, I’ve changed my injectors and spark plugs also done a compression test and had 150psi for all four cylinders and no coolant in the oil and no oil in the coolant, and it won’t start, I just have a heavy gas smell, if I hold down the throttle it will start and if I let go of it it eventually bogs out, can anyone give any suggestions?? Also I had grey injectors in before now theyre purple I’ve been told they’re 370cc stock injectors, I’m also thinking maybe my ecu is just fd up or sumthin any suggestions??? I’m running a sr20det with smic and no other mods at the moment
u might wanna try replacing the fpr, since u already replaced the injectors and its still dumping too much fuel
ya i was thinking of just buying a used fuel rail with injectors if possible off someone and trying that out, i had my fuel pump on a switch b4 now its off and runs properly, maybe to much pressure against the fpr and fd it up, but thats my next attempt at it thanx, if anyone else has any ideas feel free to put them out there
i have a couple fuel rails with fpr’s
