Well, You know that I painted my last car. Wow, ur a dipshit! And I painted one of my old teacher’s car last year. I took a whole class on painting and body work. Are you ok? Lil bit of amnesia??? And wat questions wouldn’t I be asking? The only question I asked about paint, was if it would look right with a lighter blue flake over a dark blue car. Until u’ve stopped asking dumb questions rob, don’t post in my threads… k?
What are Stiffing bars and where do I get them?
I’m not going to argue the fact but from speaking to people who HAVE the kit and have already done it. Expect to pay(If a quality shop is doing it) double of what you paid for the kit to get it fitted right. Its alot of work and $$ to get it done CORRECTLY. Like i told you from day one good luck. I hope that everything works for you.
These are going to help to prevent the kit from flexing to much, coupled with a few new layers of glass your kit is sure to stand the test of many miles
Its actually somthing you can fab up your self, easiest material to use is Aluminum, use flat like 1/8" or 1/4" by 1" or 1.5" x about 4' or 6' long you can actually pick these up from a hardware store or Home De pot relitivly inexpensive, cut 'em throw 'em in a vise and bend them up to fit where ever your needing them, mount them to the kit with big stainless washers to avoid rust spots and use nice alan head stainless bolts,
Even though thier on the bottom of the car it’ll look nice if anybody desides to look underneath.
If you really wana go the extra mile polish them on a wheel before you put em in or hide them well and spray balm 'em flat black or whatever.
If you can tig you can make them outta aluminum rods, be sure to use somthing thick and weld the flanges (mounting plates) on to the end of the bar. that would prolly look the best if they are visable, - :blue: good luck
I have no clue on how to do that. I will ask the body guy who is helping me with my kit if he knows how to do it. My brain just is not comprehending what you said on how to do it, thats y you should just come out and help me do that part. Sounds complicated. I may have to read it again later to understand it, since I just woke up from a nap. Maybe thats y, cause my brain is still all fuzzy. My neighbor woke me up tp tell me that my car was drifting down the driveway. I almost hit my house. My parking cable wasn’t on all the way…Ooops. :eek4:
its not as bad as it sounds, i think if you can spray, you can figure out the Fab,
on a side note i was trying to look at your cardoamin , no such luck, somthing you can fix?
Ueah, everybody on here is trying to look at my CD page abd is saying its not working, every time I go to it, it works fine. I dunno know wat the problem is.
your link in your profile is the incorrect link, go to your own profile and click the cardomain link you’ll see, i think its an ad to friend page?? idk
what ur car make/model/year
I’ll check it out. I have a Geo Metro. I think it’s sick, but every1 else makes fun of me. I dunno. NO, J/J! lol. 05 Hyundai Tiburon. :D. But yeah, Imma go fix that Cardomain thing.
http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2287538 heres the link you need
Yeah, I just fixed it. That was my old Cardomain page. But to all who were trying to get to it… you finally can.
Kristen,What he means is the side have an empty space between the bottom of the car and the bottom of the kit ,about 4 inches or so .you should insert something between the 2 .Its a little ghetto but I just cut pvc and used a long screw into the bottom .if you use this method put a dab of silicon on the screw so no water gets in and causes rust.
you car looks good for what it is on car domain…i just dont care for painted interior
but the interior shots of the seat with you in it
Thanks. It was just too dark in the inside, I wanted to brighten it up a lil. I don’t think it looks too bad, but it’s my car. But thanx. I’m open for constructive critism.
Larger wheels, and he’s right “Insert somthing about 2” Between the two" :idb:
I ahve 17’s on it already. I don’t wanna go bigger than that. I believe that sport compacts shouldn’t go bigger than 17’s. The rims look smaller because of the lip.
j/j it was consturstive critisism -see sig
Gotcha.
