another banana for ya :banana
lol thanks for the banana, im gunna need it im headed out to the garage right now :ohnoes lol im sure im gunna be out there alllll night and probably not accomplish anything lol…
…but on a positive note, he came over today and seperated, baggied and labled everything, threw out all the old parts that werent needed, weeded out some of the neon parts that wound up in the box (that i probably would have found someway to put onto the quad) lol he also explained some things to me, gave me a starting point organized all the parts and gave me a direction :bowdown so at least i have an idea on what im doing now, i took lots of notes lol
Nice, keep us updated.
Laundry offer still on the table.
:confused
:wtf lol
So did you get it up and running yet? Can I ride it? lol :banana
heres the pics you requested…
frame-
wheels and seat-
motor-
parts-
more parts-
ok now put it together lol
sandblast and paint frame first
yea thats what im working on now…well not sandblasting it cuz some of us arnt cool enough to have those kinda tools, so im doing it by hand lol
it comes out waay better sandblasting, you can get in the corners and everything, i have a cheap HF one you can borrow somewhere, its a top feed one.
:wow
It’s simple, you just gotta throw the abrasive at it really hard. :nod
i mean im gunna sand it by hand like with sand paper not sandblast it by hand by throwin sand at it, wierdos lol…my ex paints cars for a living im sure hes not gunna let me do a shity ass job, he already gave me the right kind of sandpaper and told me what kind of cleaner and paint to use, so im sure it will be fine…and if it doesnt come out perfect, its a frame, for a 3 year old, not that big a deal lol
hey DJ thanks for the offer, but i wouldnt know how to use it lol
Ive got a real cheap sandblaster that attaches to an air line and feeds from a 5 gallon bucket of sand- I think its Black Cat sand from Grandview Block.
Its just a wand with a button on it.
My brother paid less than $20 for it at Home Depot. The sand is less than $10.
He used it on skid plates for his old truck and then sold it to me.
Much easier than hand sanding as long as you have an air compressor.
it makes a mess and you need to cover up when sandblasting, lol
Just do it on the lawn. Thats what we did.
Just a little update if anyone really cares lol…im almost done sanding the frame…
