So ever since i bought this s13, sohc. I 've had a problem starting it when its warm. It doesn’t happen every time its warm, but when it does happen the car is warm, or in process of cooling down.
My battery is perfecto, did a full tune up, which includes, sparks, wires, fuel filter, cap and rotor. THe problem is still there.
Try using a multimeter on your coolant temperature sensor to check the resistance values as the temperature goes up from a cold start. Look it up on NICO, there should be an article there IIRC. I remember doing something like this when I was diagnosing my 18mpg stock KA lol.
whatcha mean by hesitant when warm? cuz if it’s not starting right away when u put it into ignition to start 'er up, it’s normal. Check the owner’s manual because it states it, it happens rarely to me tho, you have to give it some gas as you start it up and it’ll start up no problemo!
