What??? Are you saying a V6 will reduce power and an inline 6 wont??? How old are you? Tell us, how does a car engine work? I think you should do research to see that a VQ is also a V6. Does that change your opinion about the VQ now?
Who have you been listening to? Your playground buddies that gawk over your Sport Compact Car magazine at lunch time while you tell them you’re gonna get the 300. They manage to offer up every possible option as what they would do to make it their dream car cause they feel they know shit about cars since they got a 70% in Auto Shop? I don’t mean to be harsh, but you hit a funny bone when you said V6s are less powerful than inline 6’s. A battle that I’m in with Assass1n right now.
The VQ is extremely hard to swap in, it is 2 times LARGER than a KA and yes, it is skinnier than the VG but also about 2-3 inches taller. All of this costs MONEY. I spent 4G on a straight VG to VGTT swap in my car. Same mounts and everything, but I spent a lot on getting it done right.
You really think a V6 can’t pull your friends around? How many people are you expecting to get inside a 2+2 300 anyway? It’s only a 4 seater with the two back seats barely large enough to carry infants.
Please do your research before you start making false claims. Seriously, you deserve a Civic. Learn about the car and come back to a RWD sports car like the 240SX or 300ZX, or if you can afford more then 350 or G35. Better yet, start off with a FWD Nissan like the Sentra or Altima. Way better choices than the Civic for sure.
There is nothing better for any car motor than having the right driver. VG applies the same way.
