I’ll give you a hint, the 350 comes from the displacement.

350Z is a VQ35DE

VG30ET is the SOHC turbo version of the VG30DET/TT thats in the 300ZX’s

thats so retarded… i understand people trying to be different, but why go backwards in technology? id rather see an LS1, and im sick of those swaps. RB or s 2JZ swap is cool, but a VG30. :headbang

Did I mention the motor weighs under 400lbs? Its around ~360lbs might be a bit more

yeah great. ive had one it was in my maxima… great engine i tell you, great!.. i wouldnt go as far as reliable, and when things break they arent cheap either. i like nissan, but the VG30 wouldnt my first or 2nd choice engine for a custom conversion. if i got it for free with the tranny and an r230 diff with it, sure thing, id use it, but i wouldnt pay for it
