yepp… ebay shieeetttt!

i was wondering if these are reliable. or would they just rust to crap and break like some i saw

price seems pretty cheap, quality looks good.

what are your opinions?

you get what you pay for !!

thats what i was thinking too!

uhhhg… ssac shit… i personally wouldnt trust it especially for that price and knowing their history with tubro’s ect. i wouldnt feel comfortable resting what could possibly be my life if a rod breaks on cheap shit when you could get stuff you Know is better for ~2x the price. dont cheap out on main suspention componets.

i’ve heard mixed about motoria.

rumours abound that it is the same as NAMS… which would be a good thing.

you’re right it does look good… but holy shit that price would make me wonder. $250 for all 4 pairs of arms? that should give you an indication of quality.

that adjustment system is okay on the toe and traction and maybe even the RUCA but everyone uses much much bigger rod ends on the TC rod. SPL uses a 3/4" rod end (as will i) and it looks like they are using the same 12mm rod end as with the other arms just to keep costs down.

as for the reliability of the china arms, ask the following people:

jesse
titan
kaos989

each of these guys are local and all have broken the chinese made arms in one way or another after less than a full year of use.

my opinion… those TC rods are dangerous, seriously, that is the most important arm of all multi-link.

if it breaks you will not be able to use your brakes. your wheel will just dig back into your firewall… i have driven a car like this after ditching it… i drove several km’s with out a TC rod… you will die if you are on the highway and it fails.

the arms themselves are likely passably made, but the rod ends are not. rod ends that are suitable for actual racing or daily use on any car woulc cost more than they are asking for the set of arms. 8 rod ends of serious quality is going to be around $200 - $300 cdn depending on who you buy from.

also, you cannot buy rod ends in that spec that are suitable for your intended use.

pete spent over $50 each on FK rod ends in that thread pitch and IMO they are still not up to the job… sub 10k lb load rating and with a high misalignment.

How unbelievalbly funny is this thread… Bing = ’ ironic’, seems to be apropos at this juncture…

or maybe he’s just trying to be helpful by telling someone of the potential dangers of this multi-link.

Better me than you Ian.

you’ve proven time and time again that you have no familiarity with any of these products, be they branded or not.

this is a product related question and i have more product related info than you ever will.

heck, you did not even know who some of the most prominent rod end makers in the industry were in our last feud and for whatever reason yet again you try and contest my information, even though you’ve never been able to prove it wrong.

but hey… you’ve been warned so many times it is getting riduculous.

mine didnt fail, the inside perches just rusted to teh arm so i couldnt adjust. and so much build up of grime got on the joint that the ball wore down sand paper effect style

in other words… they failed.

not meant for the great white north

they will hold if they never see rain / snow salt water… once it rusts the ball joint… then its solid piece and breaks even if u go over a pothole… ahem speaking from my own car lol

This is only the RUCA’s that came from China no?..

I have had mine on for almost 2 years now and there are still no problems… I lubed them a couple times in the beginning, but haven’t in a while… they are doing fine, and I beat the shit outta them.
