Sometimes there are gems on here. Start hanging out with honda people. We always have spare parts around. Also ebay can be good but a lot of scumbag companies sell shit that sucks with simialer names to legit companies. Example “xsturbo” that stuff sucks, but “turbo xs” makes good products. Also a lot of ebay sellers put “jdm” in the description of the part. Most of the time it is not actual jdm parts. Becareful and do some reading around, and I would stay away from knock parts they will just burn you in the end

their wastegates are ok, but i wouldnt buy a new one, nor would i trust it in a high boost application
u can get the used for like 30bucks to tide u over if u cant afford a good one right away

I would never suggest a knock off wastegate with high boost. I really wouldn’t suggest one in general. That could have horrific results if it gets stuck closed.
But anyways this greddy kit, don’t like half the parts suck and you end up replacing most of them anyway? I saw one on a forum go on a mitsu eclipse and the guy changed like 70percent of the parts out. And are there any good tuning solutions allowing the car to remain obd2. I have ran the afc hack before and that was shabby at best
yeah I wouldnt run a china gate on an engine i cared about. Ive seen alot of people use one with decent results but i can recall a number of people that blew their engines because it didnt open, usually a result of a leaky and or damaged diaphram. No thanks, for the extra $100 ill keep my engine, just use a tial, hks or turbosmart wg.

No real options for obd2 inspections with honda’s unless its an 01-07

For those that don’t know its a h22 with b series trans hybrid its compared to being very close to those with k swaps for half the price
yea, except you have a very small tolerance when building the engine for highhp most of the time you end up having to get it sleeved because of how thin the walls are
and the aftermarket sucks for them… compared to b and k
