it doesn’t say a damn thing about what country anything is from and it definitely doesn’t say anything about platforms. it goes by model.
a hotrod is defined as a vehicle that has installed in it a motor that was not available in that model for that model year.
A 240SX is a different model than a Silvia or a 180SX. You could not get an SR20 in a 240SX ever. Therefore a 240SX with an SR is a hotrod for emission testing purposes.
