???
As long as you zero the scale first I’d suspect it would be accurate. I used it once like 8 years ago but I don’t have anything to compare it to.
Why not just use the digital one in Tonawanda that everyone uses? (forgot what the place is called.)
They seemed pretty on to me the last time I had used them with the vette. It should be within a few pounds I’d have to say.
If you want to use a certified scale goto Jims truck stop on Walden by the mall its like $4-5
i dont need a certified scale just wondered how u guys thought they were
weighed my car friday… scary
where are the scales there?
On the return road at the end of the track, right next to the race gas tanks.
Next to the return road. I remember using it with Real Deal.
But I just looked on Google maps and can’t find the scale on the sat image… is it still there?
EDIT: Forgot that it’s almost all the way to the end of the track. Yep, it’s still on the sat map:
[map]2011 New Road, Leicester, NY[/map]
I just used them Friday…
I can see it on the sat. image, it’s a little brown square next to a white square with pavement on both sides of the brown square so you can pull on the scale off tothe side of the return road…
Is their scale self serve? Want to get on it Wednesday.
Yes
I think last year it was close,my car weighed 3,333 which seems about right for a turbo buick.
my car and turbocivs weighed 2950… seems light for both cars but ill take it
I weighed my spyder gsx there last summer and it gave me 3150…which is a lot lower than other conversions and way less than what I calculated it should be. This was with full interior but no spare/jack, half tank of gas (10 gallons) and weight reduction by Rust.
My datsun weighed 2560 there, maybe a touch light for what I’ve taken/added.
get it on some scrap scales or grain scales, they cant afford for those scales to be off.
