Most games don’t use it, and from what I’ve heard, most things in crisis that DX10 enables can be tweaked to work in Dx9, or be similar looking. DX11 is supposed to be better.
Either way, every other platform than windows is pretty much LOLtastic for games. Linux allows games to be run with Wine/Cedega or whatever, but they usually run much worse.
Yeah!!!.. but do you guys have one of these ?..

lololololol
I had one of those when I was like 3. I didn’t have any sort of instructions, so trying to figure out how to play the games was a bit of a challenge.

Newb question but how exactly do these images work? Does it install all the programs you previously had…i.e. WinRar, Winamp, and whatever else I have on my computer?
I’ve always had to format, install windows, and then install all my programs manually.
Mark, it’s like taking a picture of your O/S and then storing it in a compressed file (image).
If you restore the image (to the hd), it’ll be like you just formatted, installed windows and drivers, etc…

What do you guys to make your images?
Everytime I do a fresh install I decide to do an image and then get lazy and don’t do it.
I’d rather image my fresh install without having to first install the image program :o
Can I just have the image program on a CD and have it make an image of my C: drive?

As stated above, download Hirens Boot CD (lots of utilities, including ghost…) boot from the CD, then put an image on an external USB drive.
When needed, boot from CD and restore image on the HD from the USB drive.
It’s just like backing up a DB and then restoring it on another DB… You should know full well how that works… teif
