how did this turn out? I walked to my room to find my phone soaked in cat piss! Excellent.I have a mattress and phone soaked in urine.

I tried the fridge and that didnt work. Then I put it in a ziploc bag with enough a good amount of rice, left it on my dashboard and most of teh water came out after 10 hours. Keep in mind thought that I have a black car, all black interior, and heavily tinted windows. On a sunny day the inside of my car gets very hot with the windows up. After that I just started using it and the water went away on its own.

Bag of rice + heat = win.

Only thing I would be worried about with yours is the salt that might get in the screens.

+3 for microwave. 1-2 min should do the trick

my phone got soaked a few weekends ago. I pulled the battery, took out the memory card and got it as open as possible. Tied a string around it and let it sit in front of a fan for a day. It’s fine now.

im no chemist, and im def no tech, but isnt heat + water a great setup for corrosion? u want it to dry out, not get heated up. this isnt a process you really want to speed up

Put it in the fridge, or a box of rice. Typically it will remove the moisture.

Warning: I have done neither because anytime I’ve gone into the water with my phone it was hosed. So I do not stand behind these if any rice damage occurs, or if your phone comes out with neons and stickers all over it, I am not at fault.

I have had to do this 3 or 4 times. Got shoved into a hot tub, dropped into a glass of water, and just recently dropped one in a sink. Left my bluetooth in my pocket and it went through the wash and it still works because of this.

turn it off right away. take the battery out. open it all up. toss it in the freezer for the night. take it out and let it air dry for the day. put everything back together and you should be good to go.

my phones work fine afterwards.

Geoff has seen this shit work.

put it in a box or baggie of rice.

Most likely its fucked though.

works fine now.BAg of rice did the job.Im getting a new phone anyway.Mine still smells like cat pee.Bye bye Gayzor
