I go through the wolf agency on big tree road, when i was younger they found me the cheapest rates around when i was 18, I was paying 1400 for liability for the year everywhere else wanted that every 6 months.
I have merchants insurance right now. If my rates dont drop im gonna look elsewhere even tho the girls at the wolf angency are extremely helpful and attractive as hell.Everyone else I talk to is my age with a clean record and pays less than what i do for liability for full coverage.
Anyone have an insurance agent in the northtowns that they like ? I prefer using an agent with no bias to any particular company (Im all ears to a different method)…but im in need of a change. Im with Progressive, 23 one accident (5 years ago), lots of tickets…no points, two vehicles, one full the other liability only, and Im too embarrassed to post the numbers… Its bad.

no tickets that resulted in points
one accident that was fault of other driver about 5yrs ago now. (same guy hit 4 other cars, I was at the wheel of my dad’s truck at the time)

WTF? I’m 28, no accidents, no points, and I have Allstate too. I’m at $924/6months. 3 cars, comp only, and I hardly ever drive 2 of them. I also live far from the city. That’s it, I’m dumping them within the week.

FYI, from the research I have done lately, I have seen that big companies like Allstate, geico, state farm…they are all about selling low policies that don’t cover anything.
Just because you have the cheapest policy doesn’t mean you are getting the best deal.
You might have the cheapest policy, but if you hit a Benz and your policy is only up to 50k because you went for the cheapest rate, I hope you have the $50k you will have to spend out of pocket to cover that guys expenses to fix it.
Once you actually own stuff like a house etc then its probably time to look over your coverage.
You should be able to get a refund if you switch sooner than that.
Yea you can cancel a policy any time they just cut you a check if you prepaid for 6months/whatever
Possibly just got my insurance lowered. Thank you guys. I was paying the $195 a month… after talking with my insurance, they took another look at things to find that they have another option to go with with the same coverage and bringing it down to about $113 a month. He is currently looking into getting me another quote lower.

Reading this thread and seeing the various prices quoted makes me think it’s like the insurance industry knows to fee stupid and discount intelligence… Imagine that.
