If that was me being hit, the camera would have “malfunctioned” shortly after the conversation, and he would’ve “ran into traffic for no apparent reason”.

i suppose there is merit to the fact that the video is edited and there is no audio of the actual conversation.
the car is manual and the driver says he didnt know the accident was his fault until he saw the video.
that said, there is still clearly A LOT of evidence to counter his claims but i suppose he does deserve due process.
and due process he will get
