does anyone know if there are cameras located on the 290…where they might be and how you could get the video footage?
uhh… theres a few. one by sheridan, one by 33, one afer galleria i think.
as for footage- its not available to the general public

areyou sure that those are the only ones? because i got hit by a truck on the 290 and HIS insurance guy is threatening to get video surveillance to say that its my fault…i wanna go get it first and say look i saved you the trouble, just cut me my check so i can fix my car

They are only traffic cameras and I highly doubt they record anything. And if they do record, the frame rate and quality is going to be so slow you won’t be able to see anything worth while.

i saw that site when searching…i think thats different…theres a few that news channels have located downtown and wherever…but i didnt know if there are real ones always recording what goes on on NYS thruways

Those are shots taken from the news truck cameras mounted on retractable antennas. They are not permanent.
i’m not worrying, but now something in the coolant system is fucked so i cant even drive it, i want to get this DONE and get my check so i can drive to work and school…he just keeps making empty threats, i wanna save him the trouble and show him so he we’ll stop arguing with me.

no he hit the rear right corner of my car which spun me towards the right making the front of my car hit the left side of his truck

theyre trying to say i was out of control beforehand and then hit him with the front of my car first…so im thinking…that would mean i got sideways…waited til he came by, went forward into the side of him, kept the same momentum as him, did a 180…still, keeping momentum with him, threw it in reverse, and backed into the side of him in order to account for the damage in the rear. :bloated:
where on the 290? I might be able to get that for you
no far from where it meets the 90…but this is what im asking- how do you get that? who do you talk to? are there even cameras? would they even release it for something like this?
