who said all the OG’s are gone ? fuck there are more OG’s left than have left, some of the guys that are gone havent even been driving as long as a few like myelf, S13GG, and canadian drifter have owned 240’s,
the guys who left were just passing through, some just got tired of the effort to finish projects, some just got tired of the hassle , some guys left cuz the originality factor was gone .
the car i learned to drive manual in was a 240, first car i owned was a 240, first car i got a blowjob in was a 240, first car i got in an accident with was a 240, first car i drifted in ( at the time we called it a powerslide cuz drifting wasent the in thing and to us never even existed), first car ive spent 8 months on was a 240, first car i blew a motor in was a 240, first car im gonna run 10’s in one day will be a 240, and when i die if it does not happen in a 240, i want to buried in mine.
i turned down a 1999 firebird as a present from my dad after my thrid 240 was scrap , and bought another 240 on my own ,

Have you considered that a lot of the people selling their 240s could be buying another 240 to build it all over again? Just like Spilner said, I intend to build up my S13 to a certain degree, then sell it, buy another S13 or even an S14. 240s are too cheap and fun to just drop completely.

Wake up people. It’s not over it’s just begun. The 240 introduction is over yes. Now everyone knows about it and now everyone wants one. I just had this kid with his dad from Montreal walk into the dealership the other day and they were here in Toronto specifacally shopping for a 240sx. People still want these cars. the only ones for sale are either shit boxes that people want to sell because they know there is a huge demand for them or they are cars that people want to get rid of so they can buy a better 240sx. A lot of 240sx owners got rid of their 240’s because their cars were not in great shape to use as a project car. And then they bought other 240’s in better condition.
the fad aint over…its just the first phase is over…like 8 years ago, when the first B series motor was slapped into a civic it got played out…they the type-r…then the h22a…now its all about k20 motors in older hatchbacks…the fad aint even close to over, …just more and more people will have to learn how to fix rust cuz clean chassis are close to over…thats why i didnt wanna part my car out, cuz its so hard to build a clean 240 from floor up pure cuz of how hard they are to get…which makes ppl want em even more !
Which is whats makes it such a sexy POS. The car was only available for 9 years and that was 7 years ago.
