u r still waiting for a light…atleast u can find a good launch point
grant it its a flashlight and not a track tree but its still going launchin practice
good for reaction times more than actually learning how to get it to grip
Did you run it with slicks ??? or drag radials ???.. and not to be a punk but my f’ing civic ran 11.9’s all night on street tires on a 100% brand new setup first time out soooo ehhh …
I know you got crazy amounts of cash in it and it does wild and crazy amounts of power and your turbo is just well huge but I guess all that and a box of cookies doesnt get ya too far. Just so tired of 100+ K cars and the smack people talk … to tell ya at the end of the day im fucking tired of all the import car bullshiz the people talk. Who cares at the end of the day V8’s own the track hell my buddy has an 84 rx7 with a 350 with bolt ons and ran 12.00’s all night first time out with 100% all seasons on haha .
Dont know maybe im talking out my ass but doesnt seem to me all the money was well thought out bigger ISNT better more isnt best. POWERBAND OWNS U
PS yes im a dick :1320:
true
I tried running drag radials but the supras are notrious for wheel hop with them. Then i tried smaller et streets but my front K/A’s are larger than the rears which caused the car to severly sway.
once again we are comparing oranges to apples. Nothing against your civic, but there are a few different factors that you and i are facing. This isnt just a new setup… this is a completely different setup there are only 3 guys that have this turbo on their 6spd supra.
You cant compare another car to another car just doesnt work. Oh yeah and bigger is better is most cases, doesnt mean its easier but then again it never is
I hear ya … I just dont see how these things are that rough … just go back to the roots full tub rear with a 8.8 inch and skinnies and you are set :naughty:
yea really that just two totally different realms
To many different factors, such as fwd vs rwd, power differences, launching styles, you can even go as far as to factor in clutch engagement cuz his supras clutch is probably brutal.
like I said its apples and oranges
u all have valid points…and also different cars, so even though u might get good reaction time and launches but thats in UR car…and every car is different…so give advice and stop bickering about excuses and lets see some results
LLLLLLLLL LETS GO!!!
be there tomorrow
go to fridays import night :burnout:
school > me
is there any saturday events? i wanna run the beater in brackets haha
nope none saturday … a major honda/acura shootout in ohio sunday
location?
friday is at prp
sunday is at quaker city
sunday is by the books though so 11.99 or faster you need a fire jacket / scatter shield / and full metal valve stems or they boot ya
love paying money to race by the book :greddy:
i’ll try it!
Look at the trouble i had trying to launch my 240 after i went to the GT30R. Launching a high horsepower manual RWD isnt as easy as people think. Give him some time. (or a 2 speed powerglide tranny ;))
regular racing at prp on saturday.
what was ur goal steel city Hp or track times?cause if it was track u should have went with a smaller more streetable turbo that spools quick with a wider powerband.if u wanted straight HP then there ya go u have what u want
