and why cant you have both?? Paul Efantis (granted he is a pro drag racer) just went 8.97 on the same setup - stock 6spd. Now he has more knowledge about setting up a car than all of us combined but still, just cause its a big turbo doesnt mean you cant track it… It just takes more skill/time/practice.

i dunno i just dont see a point in 1000+HP other than bragging rights.cause u will never be usin all 1000+HP on the streets or tracks around here.ill be happy when i get my hks 2530’s and seein probably 610 to the wheels at the most and be able to run 10’s(not the first time tho after pratice)
why are you busting my balls … even though you got a stage 6 Z . You can use 1000+ rwhp on the track. That is how you break into the low 9’s-8’s … And you can drive the car on the street with 1000hp just because you see TAs with 400hp all over the place, doesnt mean all cars are like that… and good luck on the 10’s

or in my case, DOESNT come immediately. I dont know you were referring to. But my car lacks torque cause where im making power is way past the natural torque point of the motor.

no ur cars are not the same setup…hes is a DRAG car…urs is a street car…he has everything set up for racing…u guys have the same motor thats it…u will never see 8.97 with the way ur car stands now…not being a dick to u…yes more time and practice skill will come and u will get better…everyone will get better!!! I just hoped u realized that u shouldnt come onto a board and saying ur def. going to hit 10’s out of the box and get 9’s in no time!!! Drag racing is a sport that requires skill and time…not like how most ppl think u hit the gas and go!!!
my car has everything to my knoweldge that his car has… all he has is the experience to what needs to be done to make the car go fast… he is also driving the car balls to the wall full boost, powershifting ect ect…
If i gave my car to him, the car would go just as fast as his. You must not of seen the car lately… 8pt cage, window net, chute… ect
I did say that i would be out of the box in the 10’s but for christ sake i made one fuckin pass! I never said i would be in the 9’s in no time do a search and find where i said that. I said that with time and practice i would be there and i still stand behind that… Im just going to wait and get the tires that i want and then ill be there… And hit the gas and go… are for the people with Autos.

@ everyone busting this kids balls. He’s had his new 1000+hp setup to the track one time (which will be one of many im sure) to work out bugs, tuning, setup issues. I couldnt imagine he’s really even trying to cut a super time. Its called Test and Tune for a reason. Let the kid get his car set up right, then let him get some seat time, THEN is the time to see if the kid’s previous bold statements hold water.
