impeachment

Here’s the deal as forwarded to me:

House Speaker Pelosi’s office is taking calls voting
for Impeachment of Bush/Cheney at 202-225-0100.

Folks, each of you who have been wanting Impeachment,
need to commit right now to ask at least 10 others to
call and ask each person to commit to asking 10 others
to call and so on. It needs to happen fast and NOW.
Let’s BLITZKREIG the Speaker’s office with demands for
Impeachment of Bush AND Cheney.

Please make a call, and thanks so very much."

one of my teachers sent me a really interesting article in respect to this, how this would not work, but if we do not buy gas from Exxon distributed stations it might work, all in theory of course

it is never worth it.

doesn’t bush need to do something illegal for us to impeach him?

That cracked me up so much. Esp when the report and posts say that in 1997 the strike caused a decrease in price of 30 cents.

Reality is that when the market changes on prices per barrell, we dont see the changes in price for something like 4-6 weeks according to a report I read a while ago.

So what exactly is everyone trying to accomplish? Give gas stations no business one day? Guess what, you will be back. Its a marvel about that industry, strike or say you wont buy gas all you want, but you still will.

Its a royal ass fucking :2fingers:

Where does he teach? McDonalds University? It’s been discussed a million times how this would never work, no matter how you try it. The only way you lower gas prices is to increase the supply, or decrease the demand.

IF EVERYONE stopped buying gas, then there would be zero demand

Its called thread progression. Read the whole thread next time before you start dishing out insults.

And for when this confuses you, it was sarcasm, as I pointed out for you in the quotes.

Then again, JayS said it all quite nicely, and apparently hit the nail on the head for you.

And no tard, thats not the point. The idea is to stop buying gas FOR ONE DAY. Then guess what happens? More people buy it the next day, thus nullifying the whole thing. Do you really think everyone is just gonna be able to stop buying gas overnight? No.

ehhh i just thought u were bashing republicans. my bad. carry on

No. If everyone stoped USING gas then there would be no demand. Not buying it for a day is not putting back on the demand.

Again, it wont work. Not unless you decide to power your car on french fry oil from mcdonalds.

Or hopes and dreams.

obviously. in theory, yeah if we all boycotted gasoline for a while there would be no demand.

in real life it would never work. but in imaginary pretend world it might.
