im not a GM guy but from what i understand about superchargers is this… if you don’t know what you’re doing you have a 50/50 shot of blowing your shit up…i don’t think it has anything to do with the car being meant to have a forced induction setup or not… it probly has to do with retards doing the job…i find it hard to believe GM would look at that car and say (na no one’s going to drop a blower on this thing no fucking way lets use cheap shit and cut corners.) if on the other hand they actually did say that and did use stock internals that were of lesser quality in the durability department then shame on them they should.
zr1 block all aluminum
I think you of all people can attest for how well my setup works and how little i have in the car to do so
staging brake.
same as the seats i worked on… the double yellow/black handles up top are the “primary” ejection handle. yellow/black between your legs is the “secondary” handle
What kinda car do you have again…and what color?? Was it a Talon? :haha :haha ;D
The C6 Z motor really focused on reducing weight of rotating mass… thus strength was compromised in interest of losing the mass. The ZR has stronger internals.
must be, because talons dont lift the wheels… just like his car :banana
Youll see
Aloot talk here… wheel lifts, going to gym, :crackup
A little limited now so yes, some talk because i seem to come up in discussion alot. But like i said the car should be out soon enough, im in the cast for 2 more fuckin weeks now which is gay, but what can ya do.
Dude his mom is gonna drive him around to the gym etc… She’ll prolly run his car…i mean it’s a Mustang, don’t older women usually drive those?
no fat bitches drive them
Alot of talk from someone that needs a 150 hit on his car to run high 12’s : ;D
I took the jets out, it’s a 125…i’ll throw the 150 in, in a couple weeks and see what she can do.
225 hit what? to lift wheels? please SBC, BBC do it all day LONG!!! N/A :tong
Well considering i was on STOCK suspension i would have to say that weight transfer was not nearly as good as it could be, so no i didnt pull the wheels. And i wont be spraying anything over a 75 hit this year, dont have the $ to do the supporting mods.
: :lol
Seriously, not ggonna chance damaging my car trying to go fast with inadequate parts. Dont wanna blow a head gasket/lift head this year. 75 jet will get the car moving good enough for now. Ill be running on motor only prob the first coupe of weeks. I wanna try and get 11.70 or better on motor. And i dont see yours pullin the wheels either…even with spray! So much for SBC ;D
That’s what I was getting at. I guess I just suck at putting it into 2.5 sentences.
yah…thats because The LS7 Block is just a LS1 bored out to a 7.0 (427) and the cylinder walls are thin…thats why they dont run anymore then 5psi on them because the cylinder walls tend to heat soak and crack…but on 5psi they still put down over 650rwhp.
Zr-1 is a 6.2L…Hence, thicker cylinder walls for better heat distribution…all it is, is a blown LS3
