so the opening to my blower motor is wide open, is it supposed to be like this?
when it’s raining out, water drips down and pools up into the resevior underneath the cowl for the wipermotors/wipers/windshield/hood thing (you know what im talking about)
when it does this, sometimes the water does not drain fast enough, and it pools up high enough to where it drips over the 'walls" into the blower motor fan itself , and then drips into my car, leaving water on my floorboards
i no longer have a carpet because of this, and finally after owning my car for almost a year im sick of this shit!!!
if i cover the hole for the blower motor thing, will it “blow up” or get enough air? n00b question… sorry
or i could always just weld sheet metal in order to make the walls higher?
if you have no idea wtf im talking about, i can take a pic
Leaking through either the sunroof drain tube into the cabin or if it’s like my teg it’s the cowls seal failing. Man it was fun in the winter with ice in the blower motor. LOL
Edit—
I realized I wasn’t being real specific. The seals need to be replaced.
i actually posted in that thread haha, my name is 95ls1t
im pretty sure its the cowl seals, if i actually have them… idk, i have a DC integra not a DA, alls i know is my car did not have those
but i ran a bead of caulk around the whole outside of the cowl(windshield), and i resealed it with caulk, but it still leaks
i had a whole bunch a leaves n dirt and shit that i removed from the fender exit today, which may of helped… i ran a hose thru the resevoir and no water leaked into my cabin… so who knows if its fixed :meh:
For some reason I thought DA. GL, hope you fixed it. I didn’t know the DC’s had leaks as well. It was mad annoying on the DA. I also had the leaking tails so the trunk was like a fishtank…all sloshing around on turns etc. LOL
