This does not always happen, people start to get better rates around this age but it also has to do with experience, someone who gets there license at 25/26 will still have higher rates. So it really depends on if you started driving at 16 or later, also some insurance companies don’t discount because of age at all.
If you really want a discount…get married. Then your insurance will go down quite noticeably.
