is there a lot of ppl that done z32 brake conversion here

i found links with info

does it cover everything that has to be done ???

http://www.nissanperformancemag.com/january03/240sx_brakes/ (didnt say a lot :P)

if someone done it,where did your info, what it hard and did it take a lot of time???

I have the fronts done…
but recently I bought the 300zx N/A rear brakes with everything needed and I’ll do the swap asap.

For the rear brake swap you need:
e-brake assembly
baking plate
hubs
bearings
R33 (GTS-T Skyline) e-brake cables (Left & Right)
rotors
calipers with all the clips/springs/(hardline that’s on the caliper)
pads
240sx/z32 rear conversion lines
300zx brake master cylinder with the middle flare fitting that’s inside the MC (I don’t have ABS).

That’s all that should be needed for the rear brake swap. The front brakes are pretty easy, all you need is:

rotors
calipers with all the clips/springs/(hardline that’s on the caliper)
pads
conversion lines

Importnut does a good write up and there tons of pics. I would use that write up as a general guide.

edit: If you are doing the swap yourself, I would dedicate a weekend for all this…

is there a big difference between n/a & tt brake ,i know tt are a bit bigger but is the diference noticiable ???

thanks

you need to be careful which ones you get. The front TT & NA brakes were the same for all the years, except for 1990 (or 91) where the NA got the 26mm calipers. With the fronts you don’t have to worry much since you can bolt both of them to your car.

However, the rear ones MUST be from an NA car otherwise you won’t be able to bolt the hubs to the output shafts of the differential. The calipers will bolt on w/o problems even if you got the rear ones from a TT, but the hubs wouldn’t.
