Anyhow, oh well. Honda makes their money by producing quality reliable cars. The stook is a pretty cool car, but it seems like more of a marketing tool than money maker, kind of fanning the flames (so to speak) of their cult ricer following. It probably went a long way towards avoiding a boring image, ya know? They make mostly boring cars, yet there’s still a ton of kids who say they’re sports cars, so toss a real sports car out there and voila: broad market appeal.
That’s news to me that the S2000 is 12:1 CR. :picard:
There’s been rumors for years that this car was going to get axed. It never did. It was pretty certain it would be this year since they came out with the S2000 CR last year. Honda always comes out with “special editions” of their cars a couple years before they end it.
and thats why toyota is the #1 leading selling product on the planet…
mabie honda is taking notes
dont hate, both companys make supurb product
edit: honda and yoda will come out with new “sportie” cars only when the economy stimulates, unlike a shit ton other companies whom are making making and LOOSING
that just means you’re not a driver… I’ve had more fun in an S2000 late braking into a turn and diving for the apex than I did driving a 500whp 350z at the glen…
in my expearence, car companys intend to try to sell a billion units, hence making them a profitable company…
i would bet any money that every car company can “create” a attractive car, (at least for your sake) but then if they made cars like that they would be in the same position as GM, a company who trys to make cars for everyone but cant make a car for anyone…
please stop making comments joe, you dont sound smart right now, you just sound like your crying
I don’t know about that… the S2000 was the halo car (more so with the NSX gone). you need something to pull people into the showrooms and also have pride in their brand even if they got the minivan.
used to work at a used car dealership in NYC, I personally really like the handling of the S2k
full throttle+1st gear+RWD+wheel spin+no dounut= S2000
did the same with a cobra, almost made me lose control and hit the curb
