Its ten year run sure was limited. 110,000 worldwide units sure is limited. You are the reason people hate modified Honda drivers, I hope a Honda runs you over so that you might open your eyes that something else other than Honda is good. The s2k was past its prime and needed an update and that update was not in the new Honda’s budget.
This is a real shame.
Yeah Honda should be more like chevy and produce three of the same vehicles. Then ask for a bailout, which could led to money to produce a car that a failing economy can’t afford anyways.
If companies are to make it thru hard times they are going to have to start downsizing and not making products that are luxuries.

this made me think of something jay leno said regarding modern cars. He was talking about how heavy newer cars are so that they are safe in the event of a crash but what is missing is the ability that a lighter car has to AVOID the crash.
the total world production of the S2k made me lol. ford sold more than double the amount of taurus in 1 year in the early 90’s.
I agree from a business standpoint its the best move they could probably make but as an enthusiast honda has really dropped off as of late and this is probably the finall straw imo. Sure they make awesome well built reliable cars, but just like modern toyota they are bland and very utiliterian.

Remember that dollar for dollar the community that does visual mods, pep boy mods, and maybe bolt-ons (civics et al)… yea, they are MUCH MUCH larger then the “performance” enthusiast which drove the S2k sales.
Yea, it sucks, but it is what it is yah know? I’m def gonna miss what I think they “could’ve” come up with next for the platform. 
That’s just it though… remember that even the exotics “sold-out” at some point. Ferrari road cars were only a secondary thought with which to fund the racing team…
Just like the NSX, I’m going to miss this car. lol @ the s2k getting 30mpg tho. Add honda/acura back on the list of manufacturers with no flagship sportscar.

I was speaking mostly from my view of honda. I understand and respect the decision, and wouldn’t be surprised if more companies follow suit. However it doesn’t mean I have to like it.
