That’s fucked up. The other cop car(one with the camera) was going pretty fast too, it appears. It almost looks like they were racing. The dude should get charged with everything possible.

95 mph with no lights or sirens though…seems kinda reckless.

but then again, if you’ve driven for more than a day… you can probably tell the difference of a car coming at you 40mph (whatever the fuck the limit was there) or 95mph.

the car that got hit is in the wrong, he did not yield to oncoming traffic.
YES the cop was speeding, and is definitely wrong here,but he should not take full blame
Most places require lights and sirens so that cop may be in big trouble and it will cost the town (or whatever) huuuuuuge money.

why would that car pull right in front of him? Why would cop be doing 90+mph? if he wasn’t going that fast this would be a no brainer, if the cop had his lights / siren on would also be a different story, but thats very hard to defend against, ugh

You fucking kidding? Do you normally wait to make a turn infront of a car that’s 1/4 mile infront of you? It’s dark out and it’s very easy to assume that the oncoming car is going at a speed that is somewhat close to the speed limit. VERY hard to judge a car coming at you nearly 100mph. The driver of the car who was killed is at ZERO fault.
Yeah I think being late at night/early morning it’s hard to judge how fast that car was coming.
