I am sure linux has its place but Microsoft’s advancements in security have fixed many problems of the past. I also am very pro Microsoft given they pay my bills.
Thats fine and dandy, but untill you’ve tried linux your living in a bubble. While its not user friendly like Windows is… Giving the fact that anyone who tries to even look at windows source code gets sued, linux allows you to modify anything and everything to fit your needs… the applications and the ability to work it around what you want to do pretty much makes it and endless fountain of Usability and customization to fit your needs…
While a lot of companys use Microsoft products for there everday activitys many places still use a linux/unix based enviroment to run their everday needs.
I haven’t had a need to customize Windows outside of what comes out of the box. It works fine for everything I need it for. I am sure others feels the same for Linux but I just don’t have a need for it yet.
