We just decided to turbo it to see how much the engine can take
Then he wanted to make it faster and faster
Currently it has a very tiny turbo in it
All work is custom, manifold was made, running no intercooler( but putting one in), gutted interior, relocated battery, custom dash

Now what I am wondering is can the KA24E spool a turbo from a dodge 3500
It is a very big Holset turbo and before we put it in I want to know if it will work

O yes it can, and by about 3500-3800rpm at 20psi+ producing 300+whp if properly tuned. I love holset i got it for my ka-t but it was damaged so i returned it.Which one u got h1c or hy35? Anyhow make sure you have chipped ecu or standalone. if you don’thave a way to pull enough timing it won’t go far. . But if you are serious about holset turbochargers on ka’s look below. Looks like shiet but will rape anything in site.
he has an ecu made for his engine and he just bought a SAFC2 and some 555cc injectors
the stock injectors are in the engine now
re-welded up the manifold yesterday, had about 10 leaks lol!
so the turbo would kick in at about 4 grand so we knew something was wrong
im still not positive that engine can spool a turbo from a 3500

I definatly do, bone stock engine, except for a cold air intake, maunal boost controller set at 6 pounds of boost and an eprom and a welded up dif. The car has been lowered about 4-5 inches. He just bought a FMIC and piping 3 days ago and 555cc injectors with a SAFCII, when it was dynoed it cost about $500 for the complete setup, now add $900 for the FMIC, injectors, and the SAFCII. To date it has costed about $1500 give or take. A cage was made for it and welded in but we might have to redo it:( There is also a push start ignition.
In the video it has been straight piped with only a bottle in. To date we cut off that hidious thing hanging out the back and put on a huge ass muffler with a 5 inch tip. the bottle has been cut out.
Where did you steal that dyno graph from?? Definatly not for this car. Trubo is way to small to have a curve like that especially on a fully stock engine. Good try guys. I don’t believe it.

Ill get some dyno graphs to prove it. I have 3 Graphs and some torque specific Graphs as well. It was dynod with 6psi then 8 with 9
results were
113hp/403ftlbs
120hp/398ftlbs
121/375ftlbs

Mines from a 2004 5.9L Cummins With a t4 Hotside.
No clue what trims on either compressor or HS.
It is HUGE, (its not the turbo im running atm)

Dude, whatever dyno you were on is fucked or something. There is no way you made 400 torque on a stock SOHC KA with a junkyard turbo at 8psi. Sorry but i dont buy it. You should dyno it somewhere else where the dyno doesnt suck.
