Hey, has anybody had any dealings with Karmann Fine Cars, on Densley in Toronto? Good/Bad experiences?
any dealer who call themselves dealers of “fine” cars are usually shady
HEYYYYY!!!

Oh wait!.. We are dealers in “Fine automobile” so we are good then!
Dude all I can advise you is don’t go to any dealership that hasn’t been around for more then 5 years and check with OMVIC if they are good www.omvic.on.ca click on “consumer affair”, then click on “Search for Registered Dealers and Salespersons” and enter their name to see if they are a registered dealer or a curbsider. If they are registered with OMVIC then by law they have to disclose everything to you but you should still do a backround check on the vehicle you are buying prior to purchase, make your purchase “conditional to mechanical inspection” and have your mechanic inspect your vehicle or take it to a Nissan dealer if it’s a nissan.
I have been in the industry for 8 years now so if you need help PM me. I will be back from NYC on tuesday.
Hey they’re just being honest. They dont have any “great” cars, or even “good” cars…they only stock cars that are… just err, “fine”.
whats the difference between a $45k audi and a $45k chevy
the audi dealer, being that it’s a “fine” or “luxury” car uses lube before they rape you, but they rape you longer, it’s in the contract
^ That and I’d shoot myself if I ever paid 45K for a chevy that wasn’t a vette.

A few years back, someone I know purchased a car from Presige Motors. Before purchasing the car he and the salesman agreed that some of the problems on the car would be fixed at Prestige Motors cost and it was written on the paperwork. When he came back to take care of and sign all the paperwork he did not check to make sure his concers where still included. The sales person got new paperwork and ommited the problems that where supposed to be addressed. I understand that it is “buyer beware” when purchasing anything and that he should have checked everything over but he was under the impression that he had a good rapport with the salesman. When he came back and confronted Prestige Motors asking them why they had not included his requests they played dumb and pretended that they did not know what he was talking about. Later he noticed that when he had his key in the ignition before started that all of the lights except the CEL would illuminate. He took the cluster out and found a peice of electrical tape over it to hide the fact that it was throwing a code.
He once again confronted Prestige Motors and they disregarded everything he said and refused to make any repairs.
Whenever I hear someone mention Prestige Motors it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. The best advice to give is buyer beware especially when dealing with used cars.
Ask your friend the name of the salesguy, because I can gaurantee you he no longer works here is he pulled something like that. That’s terrible. The only reason he did that was to increase his comission. The more repairs the car needs, the less profit there is in it and smaller the profit, smaller the comission, what a jerk. That’s why they don’t hire these old school slime balls here any more. All those old school sales guys know all the tricks in the book to make their comissions higher, screw the dealership and the customer. But like I said Im 100% sure he no longer works here anymore.
Sorry to hear about what happened to him but at the same time you must remember there is two sides of a story, you heard one.
