Keep blowing 15amp fuse!

Last night I noticed my tail and side marker lights were not working. So I checked the fuse and it was blown. No big deal so i go and changed it. But when i go to turn on the headlights the fuse blows again. I checked the rear tail light bulbs and they are all good.

Any suggestions?

I’m thinking it might be the headlight switch.

Thanks for the help

check for a short, it happened with my alarm. they ghetto rigged the fuse for the alarm and it keep touching a metal and car dies on me, and every time i put a new fuse it would blow as soon as it makes contact. i found the short, i fixed it and now its smooth

yeah, mor likely a short, if it keeps happeneing and you cant find it cut the wire out, run a new wire to check and if that works quickly, and if it does run a new wire hidden

^^ guys are right. It’s a pain but you have to work to get it fixed.

Cheers

Do you have any problems with your front signals, i had the same problem on and off, i would think everything was fixed and driving then it would go out,
is your cluster effected to?
It ended up being the wiring for my front signal, one little section rubbed and was grounding on my rebar.
Retaped it, and never had the problem again.

Thanks guys found the problem.
It was a wire shorting out near my left front headlight.

Nice, it always feels good to fix stupid problems like that
