And what exact metal was used? With exhausts, you really do pay for what you get.

Good job AAS. Now Corey can sound like a legit Subaru.
3" 304 stainless. 16Ga. Stainless flange’s.
DAMN lol, D&S in Cohoes charged me $150 for 3" straight pipe AND labor for cutting out resignators, muffler and welding lol.
Your a chode. I looked at the vid. That shit is Aluminized steel with popcorn welds!!! $150 you get what you pay for.

+1 That exhaust is sketchy and you could’ve gotten one made specifically for your car for around the same price.
How is that sketchy? You can take your hand and run it the length of the car between the pipe and the heat shields, or other shit in the way. its 1/2" consitantly spaced the entire way out the bumper. Tucked up the highest it can be and used WAY less bends than the OEM exhaust. Reused all the factory hangers. Doesnt rattle, hit anything and fits better than OEM.

And correct me if I am wrong but didnt we just do exactly what you just said he should have done??? :rofl See bold.

I’ll be honest… I didnt think it would be that cheap either. But $450 JUST for the piping is alot.
You know gold, not cars… stick to what your good at and make educated decisions/comments towards that. :number1

Proof.

We do work. Lets have a build off… lets find two of the same cars that need exhaust, one I build and one goes off to Inline or who ever they think is better.

Click the stop watch and lets see what the final product it. Ill tig it this time, and I bet we can get it done +/- an hr VS them MIG’ing it up. :thumbup FYI minus bs’ing around the shop we had that built in 2.5 hrs.

Inline dident do numba1scrappa exhaust… Dave is very tideious about his work, and is awesome with the Tig…

I know Dave didnt do his… D&S or what ever he said did.

I just mentioned Inline at the bottom of the call out because I know he does good work and people know him… so I would like the challange. :thumbup

haha

dont mind me, im an inline nut swinger… and you’re done

Bring it on!!! :lol

:rofl:rofl:rofl

.

So how does the flapper muff do?

great from what I heard. Corey will have to chime in. at idle its alot quieter than what he had on there. he got on it and it sounded great too!

LOL simply because I haven’t heard that word in a while.

May start using it now as KrazyKid started using chode too often, and jamoke only goes so far.

I cant take all the credit, i stole it from MK4 turdyR

yea its really quiet at idle. has some growl when moving from a dead stop. im not sure how loud it is at WOT, but i can hear it. and what i love the most about it is there is absolutely NO drone at crusing

why is there still a cat on the car

Stock downpipe

why is there still a stock downpipe on the car

Idk. I should get rid of mine too.

its coming off soon. relax :lol

I still can’t believe someone said this exhaust is sketchy…

The quality is great. I just think the tip and muffler look awkward.
