I’m waiting to hear what the plusses are of having a RHD car in a LHD world.
“Advantage” may not be the right word but the rationale would be the ability to have a model that was never sold in North America. There are all kinds of cars available in other markets around the world, some RHD, that would be fun to own.
I don’t see the logic in owning a RHD Z32 when there are LHD Z32s here. The only caveate is cost for some people which sucks for LHD Z32 owners looking to sell their cars.
Yes, but that has everything to do with the CAR. Its not an advantage of having RHD.
We’re not debating the merit of importing a car (that happens to be RHD) that you can’t otherwise have here. Or at least I don’t think we are…
We’re debating the logic of purposely switching a north american car from LHD to RHD. Asinine IMO.

We’re agreeing with each other.
Funny thing is, in a lot of cases the LHD Z32s are actually worth their “premium”. Unfortunately not a lot of people seem to realize that yet.
why would you convert a LHD car which is designed for our traffic for a more akward RHD car?
I bought a 180 because I was too lazy to do the SR swap into the 240. But I would have rather had LHD!
Sorry just doesn’t make sense to spend 10 grand on your LHD car just so you can sit on the other side.
The main reason why I bought RHD was because I was looking for something RWD and turbo, and my 180 gave me both those things. Had I have found a swapped 240 in my price range I would have probably bought that. There is always the “cool” factor in owning a RHD car that people always seem to look at. I find it gets annoying with people asking me if my car is a Skyline simply because its RHD. Or should I say “Skyliner”.
you mean… Nightliner
:E
Why would you take a perfectly good LHD car and purposely RUIN it like that? Are you nuts??
Someone slap this guy senseless and take away his keys.[/quote]
OK, I said “hypothetically” implying a mind wandering to see the limits and possibilities of car customizing, not because I am going to do this.
Hey Grandpa, put on your reading glasses before you start slapping people and taking keys.
uhh, i think you just ruined that guys day…week…year.
i think inzane said the 4 words that make him go red eyed and want to kill…“take away his keys”
idk i bought a GTR just because i like to drive on the Right hand side for me it’s very boring to drive a LHD car i like to get asked is that a Skyline and if people can get a ride in it because i have a RB26DETT in it, and also its AWD so i love having the attention. Just sucks when the police pull u over u think u got a ticket but they ask where i got the car.
oh man… i am will to bet that 99% or the “men” on this thread that are saying RHD is a pain in the ass, or its stupid or whatever, thought it was cool, or wanted one the first time you saw it… HYPOCR…
i like my 240 being LHD, i couldnt imagine myself riding on the other side dont get me wrong if you have RHD cause thats how it came awesome if ur modding for coolness NOT awesome besides how many accidents happen cause ppl like to lean a little to much while making a left turn … thats right a whole lot
