Light Issues!

K heres the skinny

1995 SE S14

Lights on daytime mode = most of the time good

Lights on daytime + Gauges = At random times the right light will cut out making the left one Super Bright

Lights On + Gauges = Left light totally out all the time as of 2 weeks, previously all i would have to do was tap the light housing and it would come on!

Solution?

I’m guessing my wires are done and its just a power issue! Anyone with input or similar S14 problems and a direction i should go please leave feedback?

I would say its most likely the wires. Check them all. Hope thats all it is.

Your problem could also be the solenoid/relay(s) that control which lights are on and when… but ^ he’s right… it’s probibly the wires.

Definitely a wiring issue. Check all the connections (especially around your headlights.) and you will have to check the wiring for breaks. Your description (left one super bright) leads me to believe the right one is grounding out…
