Gunbroker.com and ship to FFL of choice for no more than $20 on the local end! There are several around, Buffalo Gun Center charges I think $60-70 just for a fucking FFL transfer. Your main options to view guns locally are Johnsons in Lockport, Dicks, Gander Mountain and Buffalo Gun Center. Interested if there are other spots I don’t know of so spill the beans Freek.

But did you buy an ice cream at Johnsons? 
Cracks me up the ice cream…old ass piano out front of the gun store and overall the contents of the store. I’m with you…not a very friendly vibe in there in my few experiences.
Gun center is SUPER high. I mean $60 or $70 for an FFL transfer, WTF? I know a few guys that work there though…good people and knowledgeable. You can handle any gun (pistols with permit only of course) and they are cool in my experiences. I myself prefer FTF sales…keepin it on the DL.
For OG’s sake I’d find or build him what he wants for as cheap as my standards will allow.
Every time i go to the Buffalo Gun Center i leave angry. Everyone there is a douchebag.
I think there is one guy that isn’t. But I’ll never go there unless it’s an emergency. I keep plenty of stock of whatever I could need around here as I buy a lot of extra stuff as I see it come up on sale. Guns and gun parts are never going to devalue any time soon in this country. They’re a better investment than any car.

I guess I’m the exception as I’ve had good experiences with Johnson’s and Gun Center. Last time I was at gun center was for a holster and the guy (old gray haired guy) was really helpful and last time I was at Johnson’s the old guy packing a glock was great when I bought my glock. Being my first handgun and a while since I’d torn one down he went over everything about tear down and basic cleaning/maintenance.
I will say if you’re at all left leaning I guarantee you’re going to leave gun center pissed off as everyone I’ve ever talked to there has had no restraint discussing their right wing ideology. As a right winger myself I just found it amusing thinking about how someone like Joe probably leaves ready to punch babies.
i think it is paul at bfc that is extreamly helpful everyone else there is better than you.

It’s no different than any performance shop or internet clique I suppose. I know people at BGC through a friend and they are nice to me. Often people are only as nice to you as they are to common friends though.

I have always had good luck with Dan Bedell from Bedell custom on Walden in Lancaster. His prices usually beat all the major stores. 681-2248
