I have an automatic KA24E. Whenever I floor it there is a long pause before the tranny shifts from first to second but quick from second to third and so on. This has never happened before and it doesn’t matter whether its warm or cold and I have checked the fluid and its level is perfect and does not appear to be burnt. I was wondering if anyone has run into this situation or has any ideea what it may be. Hoping its nothing big but have a feeling that it may just be time to do the 5 speed swap I’ve been putting off. Thanks guys.
sounds like the seals are going
whatever you do DO NOT add those additives that say they take slipping away. your tranny will compleatly die the next day (speaking from experiance)
start saving for the swap
seals or torque converter gone or slipping thats whats happening to my dub
I have an auto tranny. take it out my damn driveway :lol:
It shifted awsome when my car was auto.
