LSx can't touch this

:uhh:

“The new 904 sells for $85,000.”

I think LSx does win…

Wow, similar to the engines winning at “lemons”? Impressive.

“Compare the similarities between Schubeck engines and the engines winning at Lemons and Indy. Starting with the valve train, for example, newer engine designs all use overhead cams proven to be less stressful by doing away with problems related to push rods and tappets. Fewer moving parts mean less reciprocating weight. Less weight helps the valve train operate in all rpm ranges with less effort and more efficiency.”

llol i love how american manufacturers cant even spell LeMans right.

cool power-plant tho. what is its relative size? lookes like its about as big as a v10

edit*damnit

Yeah only $45,000 or $85,000, depends on how much you wanna get ripped off.

Not to mention “broker” valve train components. hmmmm. You’d think at $85k a pop they could afford an editor to review the webpage before it goes public.

oh and Nelson Racing Engines is still >

This must be what they mean, lol

Thats funny the C5-R and C6-R that win all the time don’t use DOHC and don’t break, I wonder what their secret is?

As far as I know, schubeck is out of business. doesnt answer the phone anymore, and owes tons of people money for parts he never delivered. It was like pulling fucking teeth to get what he owed me last year.

That fucking blows ^

That is pretty lame. Especially for the amount of money most likely involved by those who dealt with them.

WILL MY CAR DIE?

Oh, almost definitely. And, even if it survives on the track, halfway through the race one entry will be chosen by popular ballot for immediate crushing. Could be yours. Heck, it probably WILL be yours. Be prepared.

Sounds like an awesome time.

They are the best for power vs weight vs size. Same or more power that that 904 engine for only 500lbs, it will actually fit under a hood and sounds cool as hell. Look for the sound clip of the engine in a car rolling by. All this is is a SBC with 4 more cylinders added.

Car and Driver has been twice. I laughed my ass off reading both columns.

Back on topic, I’d rush right out and buy an 80k engine from someone who can’t spell LeMans.

lsx will always win!!! you lose.

right,
junk LT1 would fuck that up in a build off
