Well from what I’ve heard, some locations can do good work, but with bodywork you always get what you pay for… the more you spend the nicer it will be.
Most of the time when people say Maaco they mean a $400 respray which looks like shit and peels within a year.

i have seen jobs done there. . a couple buddies just finished painting their cars there and came out fairly good …
if u want a car show paint job do not go there … if u want your car to look nice again with no scratches just like a clean paint job nothing special bring it there… im prob going to bring my car there. . they are also under new management!!

My buddy got his car painted there… Surprising enough it came out pretty good… and cost him @ 1200 not a bad job.

im not paying 500 for a paint job since im an angry fucker behind the wheel so i’d prob go there with a referral or something
prep it yourself and get them to prime/sand/spray it, thats your best bet.

Maaco is just like any other cheap bodyshop.
You car will look good for a year tops.
A GOOD paintjob should last 10.
You can’t judge a paintjob by how it looks coming out of the shop. They’ll probably buff and wax the crap out of it before you see it.
Best way to know if a shop is any good is to see what kind of a warranty they offer. If it’s only 1 year, then figure they know something is likely to happen shortly after 1 year.
You car will be all one color, and if that’s what you want, they can do it.
Just don’t be surprised when you see holes in the body filled with newspaper and bondoed over.
You’ll be lucky if your doorjambs, trunk, interior, etc are the same color. 99.9% of the time they just mask off the trim and glass and spray away.
i was told that on a 2 stage paint job they give up to 5 year warrenty !!
