Do you offer Tig welding as well? Say… if I wanted to drive down and have an IC piping setup done?

Sure do, thats what started me in this business. But instead of buying bends for the job, I buy the tubing and bend it myself. Most intercooler pipes I can do it one shot, depending on the distance between bends, there has to be at least 6" between each bend to allow the clamp die to hold the tube against the bend die.

Technically, you dont even have to drive down, if you give us the measurements, we can program the machine to bend everything accordingly. The only problem with this is, to get the product 100% requires some R&D. Which can waste material quickly. So we save those methods for production, say 100 pieces or more.

If it’s not too complicated, I may be able to do it in one shot. Most KA, SR, 2JZ coldpipes are easy because they are literally a 90, to a 45, to a 90. Thats how Ive done most of them in the past.

Anyway, if you would like to discuss it furthur shoot me a PM.

Ive been looking into taking the rebar in my car, and make a crash bar outta tubing, that fully supports the bumper and allows the intercooler to mount to it, would this be possible with you guys, if i brought my car down in April, along with doing the intercooler piping?

CLR’s please?
Shipping available? (To say Barrie?)
Gauge thickness of what’s posted and what’s available?
Off shore or home grown metal?
Different grade of Alu and SS available?
Curious as to what machine is used for the bending process?

Gyani…
Mandrel bent tubing is intended for larger diameter, thin walled (IS .065") tubing used in things like exhausts and IC set ups. This process typically isn’t used for re-bars/ tube front sections. Correct me if I am wrong EvilTom, but by the looks of it OM, doesn’t bend anything less than 2.5’’?

****EDIT… EvilTom… Disregard previous questions… I didn’t see the other thread.

That is definately possible to do. Ive made stainless steel moose bumpers for a couple of Volvo transport trucks out of some 3" OD 0.065 " wall 304 stainless tubing. I was a little sceptical when I was first approached with the job but thats what the customer wanted and it worked out great.

A tube rebar will still be weaker than the original, but better than having no rebar at all. And yeah the intercooler piping can be done at the same time.
