seriously… I’m fuckin blown away by the 3 year sentence which was originally going to be 15 but thanks to the families it was dropped…So apparently it was his accidental fault for this guys inablility to drive. Tops this should be a revoked license and 60 day’s in prison for street racing… But no apparently you can be drunk and hit/kill someone with your car and get no prison time. Fuck this shit… I’m sorry street racing is bad I understand but this is just rediculous… manslaughter

Like I said. You don’t have to have a license to buy a car. So why would it matter whether or not you knew how to drive a specific car?
Now, the dealership could be sued because they said to him “You can’t buy this car, because you don’t know how to drive stick”. That’s discrimination.
Except some of has have been fortunate enough to race an opponent who can handle straight line driving and a manual transmission. This kid wasn’t so lucky.

Since you have the degree, Im going to challenge you on that one for shits. Isnt knowing how to drive a manual mandatory for driving a manual transmission car (kind of like a BFOQ for workplace hiring)? And doesnt discrimination only apply for things age, sex, race, and certain protected handicaps?

- Don’t street race Mustangs.
And 3 years in prison is going to chew that kid up. He’ll come out worse than he is now.
Maybe mark’s parents should be charged with assisted homicide or something, seeing as how they bought him the car that he wasn’t mature enough nor skilled enough to control. Maybe his parents should be doing time with mejak for Mel being dead. Didn’t someone just get arrested for selling a gun to someone that was then used in a murder? hmm.
Discrimination is a variety of things. I can discriminate against people who aren’t on NySpeed. I can discriminate against people who can’t drive manual transmissions.
