yeah and I dont forsee the sabres winning a stanley cup with a year like last year when everyone thought they would. It will be a suprise attack
you guys are taking what I said a little to seriously, I just mean that if the season doesnt shape up soon its not going to look too good. Theres no one who would love to see the sabres make the playoffs again more then me.
Yes I watch hockey and Im well aware of the turnarounds teams can have, but theres also times that teams just habitually suck for a season, after awesome seasons, look at phil, great record in 05-06 season, in 06-07 they finished dead last in the east. We could turn it around real quick or we could keep at the same pace, I hope for the former, but all buffalo sports fans know you can hope in one hand and shit in the other and see which one fills up first.
the next 15 games for the sabres will deterime alot.

would someone please look up ottawaâs record after 15 games last season? they were pathetic. their whole city was ready to trade alfredsson, said he was washed up and a terrible leader. spezza and heatley didnt start cooking until 25% of the season was gone. realistically, if the sabres have any shot at making another deep playoff run, they need to rid themselves of bad habits early rather than develop them late, like last season.

After 20 games the Sens were 9-10-1.
Iâve been comparing the two teams all year, but when Alfredsson, Heatley and Spezza are on a line together, that is arguably the best line in the NHL. The Sabres donât have that. BUT, they do have a lot of talent, they just need to get it together.
Better that itâs happening right now than at the end of the season.
people were discussing on the radio yesterday morning about how when the fans get pissed that a team is losing and stop going to games, thats when you start to see changes on the team to provolk winning again. owners only see the team as a business. if its not generating money, it needs to change so that it will.
like you said about ottowa, the city was in an uproar and wanted to trade ALFREDSON. maybe if the fans (myself included) change their attitude from âoh its early, theyâll come aroundâ to âfuck this. make some trades! DO SOMTHING!â, things might get better, faster.
just food for thought. i still believe
Hmmm.
Youâre making this prediction⌠in November?
itâs way to early to say that for sure, only 13 games, haha there is 69 to go
your an idiot bandwagon fan, go away.

BEST RESPONSE IN THIS THREAD!
omg bucky gleason is THE worst sports writer the buffalo news has ever had! iâm glad someone else noticed!
For the record I hope im wrong and they turn it around.
You guys are confusing loyalty with realistic
Also, one thing to note is that the sabres arenât getting blown away. Their losing games by 1 goal. once they figure out the small details and those games swing the other way, weâll be fine.

You mean like all the ones who have told him that heâs wrong?
Miller hasnt played like Miller either, those soft goals he lets in every game have to stop.
