Pretty impressive stuff.
srs bsnz
Are you making a headlight air scoop or is that the stock air box location?
No. We’re just going to open up the hole in the sheet metal. I need my headlights.
We pulled the engine back out, cleaned up the engine bay real good. Wrapped up the exhaust manifold, bolted on the flywheel and clutch.
Engine is now in for good.
very nice.
I like it. Very cool.
Things that are left to be done:
Purchase MKIV N/A slave cylinder for clutch
Bolt on the downpipe
Install the wiring harness + Install Apexi SAFC-II, AEM Wideband, Greddy Profec, and Greddy Turbo Timer
Install Intake Manifold assembly
Install Radiator, fan shroud and Accessory Belt
Install intercooler plumbing and weld in the flange for Blitz BOV
Random vacuum hoses
Battery
Fill with fluids
Begin break-in process
The engine oil of choice will be Rotella 30w. I’ve been hearing alot of people on Supraforums running Rotella with great results. The zinc that it contains helps preserve bearing and cylinder walls.
That came together very nicely.
This build looks pretty sick. The sound of a 2jz is to die for
Fixed
Fuck, wow I completely switched the two up haha.
It’s worth a little chuckle. Ernie is the one with the rubber duckie and the trumpet
looks good! keep up the good work.
Thanks.
Downpipe finished and installed:
She is alive!!!
As a reminder: THIS IS A 2JZGE NA-T running on a 7MGTE ECU, 7MGTE SENSORS AND A SLIGHTLY MODIFIED 7MGTE WIRING HARNESS.
Turbonetics 60-1
44cc injectors
Walbro 225 fuel pump
Apexi SAFC 2
440cc injectors, sooo…stock 7MGTE injectors? Or are they aftermarket? Sounds good though…
Yeah, stock 7MGTE injector.
Eventually I will get some 650-750cc injectors and a MAP ECU within the next 2 years.
