Great progress
Just an idea…I ran accross a different style of “clip-ons” today and I’ve never seen them before…but I think I like them…

So since the SV sold today, I can splurge on some much needed parts.
So, I ordered a stainless steel allen bolt kit for the motor off Z1 Enterprises as well as R6S rearsets + rear master cylinder
I may only have able hand but I sure as hell can work a smart phone lol.
Just sayin’
(DAMMIT it won’t show the pic…click the link FTW)
you fail at the internet
I like the progress so far keep it up.
nick made beasts old bike legit as shit
<3 Thanks Jam!
Shitty about the SV, but glad to hear you’re itching to get back on the horse! That gs is going to be bangin’ when you’re “done.”
SURPRISE!!!
Chris doesn’t know I just spent three hours in the garage on his seat by myself…the following pics are what went down.
had to widen the tank that we cut up for the fairing so it would fit over the sides of the frame
Then I welded the tank/fairing to the metal pan I hammered over the frame as a bottom
Then I forgot to keep taking pictures, I laid another sheet starting at the top of the fairing carrying down the curve that I cut into the tank and then wrapped that sheet also over the frame. The bottom is now two layers thick. I welded up all of the seams throughout and then trimmed all the excess and ground down the welds. Made a mount point between the tank mount and frame so the fairing gets pinched in between.
borrowed the seat off my bike to get an idea of final layout
What a guy  Lookin real good.
I said it already, but I’ll say it again…
AWESOME!!

I still can’t get over how clean the lines are now that we modded the frame. It looks 1000x’s better than that GS750 Cafe build we saw on TheGSResources
Tartan is awesome, the older S1 Esprit’s had it.
Nick, hopefully my garage will be in competition with yours soon. LOL I plan to have a chop shop for bikes/cars when I move in to my house in a month!!!
you’ll need 4 motorcycles, a kegerator half done, multiple tools, fiberglass molds, a roadbike, two blown motorcycle engines awaiting partout or rebuild, and a Lotus Super7 replica frame leaned up in the corner…Or better to be in competition lol.
I never knew that Z1 was right in NY…go figure.
Me neither lol, I was surprised it came so quick. Prices are pretty legit too, I think I’m gonna order more from them.
wrap your finger in ductape and get back to work on this. i want moar pictures. lol.
