why did you decide to angle it out the passenger side when it looks like you could have reduced the bends & piping by exiting driver-side?
It needed muffler. And there really is no other place to stach a 6inch tall muffler anywhere else on the car. The car also came to me with no hangers or hanger mounts. So I have to find a spot that could support it. Fortunately these cars came with suitcase mufflers. Horizontally apposed just like mine. So it made sense to put it in the rear like this. Plus it looks cool. You gotta be cool, ya know?
i want you to modify my E90 M3 exhaust… i had some of it done but i’m not happy with it.
there are anti-drone pipes on it but there is still a drone spot from 1800 - 2200rpm, not sure if you know how to tune that out.
also need the tips adjusted and recoated (black)

Is autogenous welding you’re preference? Why wouldn’t you use a filler?
Yes it is. I like using it for a number of reasons. It’s faster. Not having to use filler enables me to weld a joint pretty quickly. It’s the fit up and prep in which takes long…and is inevitable.
It MAKES me keep my fits super tight. I never have gaps in my fits because my welding style won’t allow for it.
Keeps my fitting skills sharp. And that makes things look/fit/perform better.
It’s easy ramming some pipe together and filling gaps, it also looks like garbage.
Plus everyone uses filler. I ain’t got time for that!
My penetration is more uniform than if I were to use filler. Not like anyone will ever see it ha.
But in my opinion, it’s stronger.
And if I’m lucky, some joints get welded in one pass. No stopping or anything. Those are sweet.

Word. 3 and 4 inch. And 6 for the muffler. Just like the ones I made your meat missile.
