Stage Two - Suspension! I want to build up the suspension and brakes first - (most guys go straight to the motor). It already has the Street or Track A-arms and 620# 1" drop springs, now it’s getting Opentracker Roller Spring Perches, Opentracker Roller Idler Arm, Opentracker 1" Sway and Curved Monte Carlo Shock Tower Bars, and the 1" Shelby Drop A-Arm relocation brackets. I’ve also got to install my Street or Track Subframe Connectors (bottom pic) This oughta make a night-and-day difference in the way she turns and stops.

More Brake upgrades are in the works. Joe, are you set up yet with SSBC?

And if anyone was wondering where the updates have been - it’s because I’ve been paying it off. Probably my favorite thing you can do to a car - She’s all mine now!

mmmmmmmmmmm so nice

You still got that thing???
Nice, payed off… Time to spend the money on some more toys…

You better be rolling in a few weeks when I get mine out!

As for SSBC, PM me the kit you were looking to get. www.ssbrakes.com and I’ll talk with them. We just finished installing my brakes last night. The car will be on the ground this weekend. A few more things and it’s ready to roll! So get moving!!!

nice Tom

when does the tubbys cruise kick off?

Tubby’s starts in a week and a half. I’ll be there.

Where and what is Tubby’s? Tom, shoot me a pm when you go out, I’d like to join ya!

right on man, I’ll bring some brews

whats tubbys? and where is it?

it’s in Angola… small little gas station/corner store/ice cream shop.

They usually do a cruise every Friday in the summer. It’s a good time, mostly classics and hotrods with some modern muscle.

stop on out man… bring your old mans GN

They average around 80 or so cars, every Friday. It’s a chill spot. Good ice cream too.

Joe, I’ll get back to you, I need to figure out how I can reroute my clutch cable through the firewall, I don’t have any clearance for the booster. I’ll get a pic

Quick update, some new goodies came in (:snky:), and I finally got the rest of the trim pieces, especially the long chrome rocker trim back on. Almost looks like a complete car.

Excuse the camphone pics, here’s how she looked last night:

As stated, I’m looking for a good place to weld in the SFCs in the southtowns. I’d do it myself but I don’t have a lift and I want them square.

Vics auto on south park ave, let me know and ill call him for you.
