hahahahah!! DO IT.
Lookin good thus far john
Im searching for another GS for my project plans, which are just as crazy as yours but in an entirely different direction. I should have never sold my gs450
Any other plans as far as cosmetics? Ringing these are cake, im sure you don’t need someone else to do that for you
you are the biggest nigger…this was my idea from the beginning!!!
Badass project
Its not that i cant, but more that i dont want too.lol Id rather pay to have it done on the cheap. if i cant find anyone who wants to help me out then i will do it myself obviously. Im sure it just needs rings/hone but at this point i just dont feel like it.
so while im waiting for the tank i need to decide on color scheme. Im thinking matte black obviously and either the crome wheel look or the red wheel look. Im still debating on whether or not to go with s white wall tire as well.
any opinions would be great. im still undecided.
Heres a picture of a guy doing a project like yours on wnysportriders.org
looks like he bought a hard tail conversion kit. looks nice.
fuck that looks good
:tup::tup:
These projects are so cool. Even though anyone could get their hands on something like this, most people wouldn’t even try it. But as a cheap, relatively easy project, the results are ridiculously awesome. Keep this one updated sir
Black and red has been done many times before. What about flat black with tan accents and wheels ?
honestly, ive kinda been itching to do something with white accents. Like white walls, white seat kinda thing. then im still undecided about the wheels. I could paint them black as well, or try to polish up the chrome.
only thing expensive in this project may be the magneto kit to eliminate the alternator and all alternator crap. Try to keep the bike simple and clean. unfortunately the kit looks to be around 600bucs.
im coming up with a alot of magneto kits jon but there all so fucking expensive…im gunna steal the one off my 125 son!
very cool man  awesome project
got the tank today with a flush mount pop up gas cap. did a couple frame mods and placed the tank up there to get an idea. still need to cut, weld, move some stuff to get it sitting looking good, but this is just to give me an idea of where im going.
next stop ill be stripping down the covers off the front and possibly switching to a front disc wheel i got off a cb200t
